Emerging local artist Sunny Reyne presents the launch of her debut EP 'Right Now' at the Evelyn Hotel on Saturday, December 10, with support from Kuzco.
Created in a remote collaboration with UK-based producer Lewis Moody (30/70, Z.F.E.X), 'Right Now' is a collection of beautifully written, earthy neo-soul tracks.
Combining neo-soul and alt-jazz elements, Sunny opts for minimalistic, rhythmic vocal lines and understated instrumentation in combination with detailed production choices, synth-laden sounds and disjointed grooves that combine to add extra weight to her lyrics, highlighting her considered vocal choices.
This performance will showcase these new songs, plus new unreleased music, alongside her band of local musicians Ollie Rolfe (keys), Angus Radley (bass), Felix Bloxsom (drums) and Harry Tinney (guitar).
