The iconic Ev Bandroom has been hosting live music for the past 50 years, from humble beginnings of putting on newly local Italian music acts from Maria’s (Owners) hometown of Viggiano to help ease the pain of being away from home for so many new Australians.
Since then, the Evelyn has been a stalwart in the Melbourne live music scene and has hosted seminal local artists such as Dirty Three, Powderfinger and You Am I to massive international acts the likes of MUSE in its formative years as a band room.
In recent years it has given a home for local artists to hone and grow their craft for bigger stages the likes of Hiatus Kaiyote, Alex Lahey to name a few and continues to do so in its most recent update.
The iconic Evelyn will live to serve the earth-shattering talent that the Melbourne scene prides itself on for many years to come!
