November 05 will see experimental funk machine Steppers bring forth their debut single Funkovski at The Evelyn Hotel. This home-town show kicks off their 10 show east coast tour. Lead by the soulful vocals and beats of the esteemed Reginald AK, Steppers boasts deluxe guitar, sultry rhodes, a luscious 3-piece horn section featuring trombone, tenor sax and effected trumpet, all driven by all driven by heaving basslines.
With lyrics referencing the regret of love lost, Funkovski brings the realization that more could have been done. The horns produce a wistful sound whilst giving hope that something could be learnt from losing something so great, so easily.
