Sydney’s lords of misery POTION return to Melbourne for the first time since November last year to bring their crushing and relentless strain of stoner doom to the Evelyn hotel on Friday November 24th.
Launching their self-released LP, ‘AGELESS’ which presents the band’s discography to date with a brand new vinyl master from Elliott Gallart at Chameleon Studios (SPEED, Bloodmouth) and new artwork by the band’s own Stellar Leuna, POTION combines the viscosity of modern hardcore with the winding song structures and pummeling riffs of classic heavy metal, laying waste to any venue that will have them including opening spots for Conan, Eyehategod, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats and Phil Anselmo.
Joining them will Melbourne psyche-doom royalty HOLY SERPENT, local death duo MISERABLE CREATURE and the sludgy Star Trek-themed death metal of AGLO launching their new album ‘BUILD FEAR’.
