Orange Orange returns to Naarm to headline the Evelyn Hotel – the first show since the launch of his sophomore album 'The Sun Isn't Gone', releasing earlier this year.
Veritably one of the strongest independent releases of 2023 – The Sun Isn't Gone cemented Orange Orange as one of the most creative up-and-coming artists in Victoria.
Recorded very independently throughout Victoria's everlasting lockdown period, The Sun Isn't Gone finds Orange Orange in true moments of enlightenment in a climate of vitriol and uncertainly, where his potent, uncompromising lyrics are a guiding light.
Described as "alternative/indie about the self, empathy and the search for contentment", Orange Orange rocked Naarm with the release of the scintillating EP "Study Period" seven years go, and has been working hard to create songs his own way ever since. Orange Orange will be accompanied by his long-time band to perform these songs.
Supporting will be the ever-dreamy Ella Clair performing in a beautiful quartet – and introducing indie-folk rockers Paisley Lace, hailing from the Surf Coast.
