To celebrate the launch of his second EP “So I Can Start Over Again”, NIK NAVY will be joined by Max Lawrence and Geography for a night of beautiful music at the Evelyn Hotel in Melbourne/Naarm.

NIK NAVY (he/him)
NIK NAVY is a queer vocalist, songwriter and producer from Naarm/Melbourne who makes honest pop. Richly raw and introspective, his music is built for quiet moments of solace, as he reflects on love, growth and what it means to be queer in a complex world.
His lyrics are written with a sense of catharsis, drawing inspiration from the moments and relationships in his life. His music is soft and intimate, reminiscent of other artists like James Blake, Lana Del Rey and SOHN.

Max Lawrence (they/them)
Naarm based musician Max Lawrence creates larger-than-life art pop, blending electronic grooves with orchestral textures; capturing the expansive and detailing the intimate.
Inspired by Kate Bush, Bjork, James Blake and Moses Sumney, Lawrence’s audiovisual landscapes blur the line between intimacy and fantasy, shaping worlds that are grounded in reality, yet extend upon it.

Geography (she/they)
Geography writes songs about love and the sky. All created by Georgia Smith while in lockdown, these songs are filled with emotion and warmth always. Centred around lush guitar melodies and pop sensibilities, the music shows both vulnerability and depth but never lets go of the playfulness that makes it so hopeful and fun.
