The vibrant and magnetic Lucy Lorenne & The Early Birds are a six-piece indie pop rock outfit based in Melbourne, Australia. Fronted by the captivating Lorenne, the Early Birds have cultivated a strong following with their fiery sound, sharp songwriting, conscious, heartfelt lyricism and wildly tight live shows, providing sweet and cheeky tunes that amplify a growing post-millennial angst.
Following a successful debut EP (Summers Gone), a string of music festivals (Port Fairy Folk Festival and Queenscliff Music Festival) and live shows across Melbourne and the Surf Coast, Lucy Lorenne and the Early Birds trajectory is up, up and up! Their latest single, ‘Tamagotchi Nights’ – a boppy nostalgia-driven pop anthem commemorating childhood innocence and fantasy – marks new depths of sonic and lyrical maturity for the band.
