The Evelyn Hotel | Friday 18th of August | 7pm | $15 Presale / $20 Door

Inanna Indigo is a six piece soul, jazzy, indie blend of love soaked musical goodness. During April they completed their first tour of the west coast of Australia. After obtaining the Mornington Peninsula Performing Arts Fund Grant late last year they are currently focusing on finishing their debut album ‘To Be Soft Is To Be Strong’ and are extremely keen to play songs from this collection at the lovely Evelyn.

Singer songwriter Mel Francis, along with some of her musical wizard mates, brings you a collection of her personal, vulnerable songs, birthed over the last 5 years to provide catharsis. Mel draws on her affinity for world music by blending a wide range of sonic textures and spicy flavors with jazz, blues and soul, while circling lyrically around themes of the evolutionary inward journey.

Ed Moon is a Melbourne based, soul-inspired singer-songwriter influenced by Leon Bridges, Lianne La Havas and H.E.R. Performing since 2013, Ed debuted his single ‘Pass the Blame’ in late 2020 (available on all platforms). Ed has quickly become an electrifying regular live performer, opening for Jack Jones in 2019.

This event takes place on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, where sovereignty was never ceded.
