Melbourne prog rock / heavy metallers FLITCRAFT are back, launching their second album “House at the Centre of the Universe.” After releasing their debut record “Our Long Journey to the Middle” in 2022, the Melbourne band are thrilled to be launching their new concept album on CD+LP via Pitch Black Records.
Dressed with the flair and spirit of progressive rock, the album seeks to create a sound and scope of adventure and excitement while still retaining the energy of a heavy metal at its core. Taking cues from classic albums of the last 50 years, this album can be described as an Australian rock experience that owes as much to classic Judas Priest and Megadeth as it does to 70’s Rush and Wishbone Ash, blending elements from all seamlessly into a cohesive whole.
In celebration of the release, FLITCRAFT are hosting a night of hard rock at the Evelyn Hotel, playing old and new material from their exciting and rapidly expanding catalogue.
Joining the band at their launch are the grooving powerhouse “THE VENDETTAS”, hard & heavy riffers “DRACOREX”, and old school rockers “DAY OF CLINT”.
