Join us June 12th from 4–6pm for an arvo with Blood Moon Wines and a DJ set by Freddie Wright.
Blood Moon is the work of Matt Aulich — musician, winemaker, occasional vineyard serenader, and former guitarist in The Paradise Motel and Late.
Matt started Blood Moon with a couple of mates in 2014 before going solo in 2019, making wines guided by two important principles: flavour rules and life is weird and wine helps
Expect expressive, minimal-intervention wines made from Victorian fruit, with plenty of texture, energy and “how is this bottle suddenly empty?” appeal. French varieties, Italian varieties, vibes varieties — all made with a less-is-more approach and a very watchful eye on the barrels.
These are wines for good dinners, bad weeks, accidental Thursdays and long chats that were only supposed to be one drink.
