Come and celebrate the release of Mayhemtom’s second album, ‘Atheistic’
Oct 30th at The Evelyn promises to provide a night of dark indie rock, heavy rock/post punk and funk rock via three acts: Mayhemtom (album launch), Serious Crew and Internet Romance.
Mayhemtom is the moniker for Tom John, a doctor and musician who previously fronted several Melbourne bands. Rediscovering his first love, finding therapy in music, formed the backbone to songs for his debut album "The Art of Flying While Falling" . The new album "Atheistic", was written in 2023 and recorded at Rollingstock Studios in 2024, produced by the brilliant Myles Mumford. The album explores existential themes, religion, race, love and loneliness. For lovers of indie bands with a social conscience.
Special guests on the night are two exciting new bands, Serious Crew (funk rock) and Internet Romance (indie, heavy rock, post punk)
